Siden och kattun

On February 6 there will be a lecture, Siden och kattun, about 18th century clothes and fashion at Stadsarkivet. The lecture starts at 12 am.

There will be 18th century weeks at Skansen again this July, with concerts and 18th century costumes. Check out the program here (they’re using my photo again!). The information is only in Swedish though.

Herrgårdsliv - 18th century weeks at Skansen

In July there will be 18th century weeks at Skansen again, just like last year. There will be costume showings, music, food and more. More information at the Skansen website. (That’s me in the ad above by the way!)

Gunnebo slottsspel

Gunnebo slottsspel is an 18th century event held at the Gunnebo castle outside of Göteborg. From the website:

Gunnebo Slottsspel offers excellent 18th century musical entertainment, splendid costumes, inspiring lectures, historical food and stimulating dramatized guided tours. Be prepared for gun smoke and canons when the Swedish and danish troupes gather for the Kvistrum battle.
