Costume sale
Posted Nov 12, 2011 at 00:46 CET in Events, Fashion, and Swedish events.
Very short notice, but on November 12 Drottningholms Slottsteater are selling out some of their costumes. As they mainly use 18th century style costumes I though it might be of interest, especially to those who don’t make their own 18th century clothes!

Alas! How I wish I lived there, if only for this to die for sale! I am not a seamstress, and would dearly love to be able to go wild and buy some lovely period style items!

My name is Morgan Murchison & I would love to have an 18th century gentlemans suit, circa 1750 or 1760,1770.I do belong to Gustaf Skal but alas I have no costume as yet.I love anything from the 18th century & would love to have a suit with wig & {small sword perhaps}.These suits & clothes here are really beautiful. Please,is it possible to order them if I send my measurements?
Yours,

Morgan: I’ not sure which costumes you’re talking about but this costume sale was one day only, in Sweden.
