I really like your blog. Also thank you for that link ! In fact it was quite useful for me: I was wondering how a “pouf” would look from behind, for I am planning a bigger copy of Jean-Frédéric Schall (1752-1825) Morgentoilette (I dont know the englisch translation for that) in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. A really nice nue de dos with a “pouf”, but not quite clear in the details.

I love the dresses from this era, but I think the hairstyles can be a bit over the top sometimes. The hairstyle on this picture is lovely though. :)
